Biographical Statements of Active Participants
Dr. Philip BAGNOLI
Dr. Philip Bagnoli has been with the Environment Directorate at the OECD in Paris since 2001, where he undertakes quantitative (modelling) analysis of environment issues (including climate-change policy), and does research on the economics of biodiversity management. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Toronto (1994) which followed undergraduate work in the natural sciences. After working in the private sector (Shell Oil) for four years, he worked at the Bank of Canada in their international department. Between 1991 and 1996 he was then at the Brookings Institution in Washington , focusing on quantitative economic analysis of climate change. Between 1996 and 2001 he worked on macroeconomic issues at the Department of Finance in Ottawa.
