Programme

The Summer School is designed to last for 6 days, and consists of about 30 contact hours and another 4 hours of scheduled reading time or consultation. The School is a mixture of lectures, student presentations, consultation and reading sessions. Each lecturer is expected to give 3 hours of lectures, split into 2 x 1.5 hour sessions. Each student is also expected to make a presentation, of about 30 minutes, so for 20 students that would give another 10 hours of contact time. The paper should be completed and sent to the Summer School Secretariat by the 1st of June, 2007.

In the consultation session students can consult privately with lecturers. In order to reduce the burden on students and lecturers, a free afternoon is scheduled.
