ESS RESECON project

In late 2005 the Summer School series received funding from the European Community's Sixth Framework Programme, Marie Curie Actions - Human Resources and Mobility, within the project ESS RESECON (European Summer School in Resource and Environmental Economics).
The Action aims to provide short-term training opportunities to allow researchers to network and keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in their field. It is targeted primarily at early-stage researchers and researchers with up to 10 years of experience. Thanks to the financial support of the European Commission, the Organizers are able to continue this prestigious series of events and offer grants for the students' participation.

The EU financial support covers a period of four years, from 2006 to 2009. Topics are the following:

1. Computable general equilibrium modelling in environmental and resource economics, 25 June-1 July 2006
2. Trade, property rights and biodiversity, 4-10 July 2007
3. Space in unified models of economy and ecology,   6-12 July 2008
4. Economics, transport and environment, 5-11 July 2009
